This was the first time doing it for a non-football event. Players were drawn different events at random, and scored points when Team GB won medals in those events. There was a prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Scoring is handled by ranking each country for each category, scores are then assigned to these countries and the guesses of each player are totalled up. Whoever has the highest total score at the end of the tournament, wins a special prize (worth the value of £20.) You have until the end of the first round of matches to submit so you can see how each team is doing. The deadline for submitting the form is Tuesday 18th June (also don't forget to register to vote!)

Lynne is crowned champion of this years gambling tournament! Having survived a late attack from John, she held her lead, helped massively by having 3 of the final 4 teams in her roster. And so, another gambling tournament comes to an end. Despite John correctly guessing the winning nation for the second time in a row (maybe he needs to place some larger-stake bets next time???), Lynne had 7 of the top 11 scoring teams. Lynne also had the most game wins, player of the matches, and goals - so really this was just one of the best scoring selection of teams our little game has ever had!
